Exercise #258

Exercise #258: Craft
Posted 4/4/08

Today’s exercise was brought to us by Marge Sallee from another writer’s group.

Write the ending to a story. Anything that happened before in the story should be implied as if it exists, but the rules say you can't try to put it in...because this is just the ending.

How we wrap up a story is important, and it will be interesting to see how we tie together loose ends when we aren’t even really sure what loose ends exist.

Critiquers, critique on the smoothness of the ending, and how satisfied you feel that a conclusion was reached. Remember, you won’t have all the answers because much of the story will be missing.
