Exercise #336: Craft
Posted  10/2/09

What do I do now?

I’ve been cranking out Craft exercises once per month for more than six years. (Wow, has it been that long?) I try very hard not to repeat an exercise, and in the Craft area, that’s getting harder to do.

So today, I’m asking you. What do you want to explore in the area of the writer’s craft? What are you fuzzy about, or what did we touch on briefly that you’d like to see done again, in more detail? If you had an hour to talk to your favorite author, what kind of writing questions would you ask him or her?

Your SUBs will help me create the Craft exercises for the months ahead.

Critiquers, this exercise doesn’t lend itself well to critiquing, so I recommend you find an older SUB to critique.
