Exercise #399: Self Knowledge
Posted 12/17/10

A bucket list is a list of things you must do before you kick the bucket - travel, experiences etc. - and was brought to my attention via the Warner Brothers movie, The Bucket List. (This link has sound.)

Today’s exercise comes from Sue Levy.

Have you ever made a Bucket List? Show us one of your items in detail, either the doing of it, or the reasons you want to do it.

You may, if you wish, show a character tackling this exercise instead.

Critiquers, you might choose to answer these questions for critiquing the piece:
     * Did you catch any spelling errors or other standard proofreading items? If so, note them for the author.
     * Can you relate to the feelings or actions represented? Why or why not?
     * Does this make you want to add this item to your own bucket list? Why or why not?

Word limit: 1200
Please use the subject line:
             SUB: Exercise #399/yourname

Why this is a self-knowledge exercise: Discovering what you want to do or see will tell you something about yourself, and so will your reactions to other peoples’ lists.
