Posted 11/19/21

In the States, holiday season is upon us. It’s a time for thankfulness, giving and reflection.

What’s the weirdest holiday “event” you can remember? It can be a holiday gathering, just one happening at such a place, or any other memory triggered by this prompt.

As always, you may show us a character tackling this exercise.

Critiquers, you might choose to answer these questions for critiquing the piece:
     * Did you catch any spelling errors or other standard proofreading items? If so, note them for the author.
     * Could you relate to this piece? Why or why not?

Word limit: 1200

             SUB: Exercise #920/yourname

Why this is a self-knowledge exercise: Holidays are supposed to be joyful times but for many people this is not the case. Thinking about holidays past may help you learn something about yourself.
