Exercise #93: Craft
Posted 2/4/05

How do you create your characters? I used this character generator just to see if it worked:
http://www.tarottools.com/archives/000021.html
and it does. It isn't the cards themselves you use, or what they stand for, but what you see on them to spark the hows and whys of the character. Using them, I created a pretty good dragon character.

Other creation sites on the web are:

The gaming world gives us role-playing character creation, which also works for writing:

For this exercise, create a character. Then give us a paragraph describing your character. Show us what they look like, and give us some insight into their personality. You don't need to write a story around him/her/it.
