Exercise #68: One Word

This One Word exercise is a bit different.
Today, find a word you don't know. Find it in conversations you have, movies you watch, or books you read. I will allow slang for this one, so we don't need to be able to find the word in our dictionaries, but it must be:
* commonly used by someone (my 21-year-old niece uses "jah" a lot, for instance)
* not used by you (find a word you don't know, remember!)
* defined at the beginning of your sub
Once you have your word, write about it.
Word limit: 1200, not including the definition
