Exercise #1018: Self Knowledge Posted 1/19/24
This one will take a bit of work.
Find a spot in your house that hasn’t been cleaned or organized or maybe even looked at for quite some time. The bottom drawer in the back bathroom? The junk drawer in the kitchen? The closet that belonged to your kid who moved out years ago? Find a spot. It doesn’t have to be big but it does need to have things in it you haven’t seen in a while.
Got your spot? Clean it or organize it. Or just pull everything out and put it all back. Find out what’s in there. As you do this, find one thing that catches your eye or your imagination. One item.
Got your item?
Now write!
