Exercise #279

Exercise #279: Webactive
Posted 8/29/08

Today’s exercise comes from Chas. She sent me the link, and noted, “These are (some of them more so than others) complete stories in six words. Fascinating.”

http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/14.11/sixwords.html

Got the idea? Now you try it.

Write up to ten stories, each of no more than 6 words.

Critiquers, for each one, evaluate how complete the little story is. Does it have plot? Conflict? Resolution? Any character development? If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, explain what you think the story is about.

Word limit: 6 each, maximum of 10 stories
