Exercise #630: Self Knowledge
Posted 7/17/15

Look at the avatar you use on social media. (That little photo icon that shows where you have posted something.) For this exercise, anywhere “you” are represented by something visual counts!

What is it that appears? If it is a picture of you, what’s special about this picture or pose? If it is not a picture of you, why did you choose that image? You may give us an essay on “What and Why” or show us a scene of avatar creation to answer this exercise.

As always, you may show a character tackling this exercise instead.

Critiquers, you might choose to answer these questions for critiquing the piece:
     * Did you catch any spelling errors or other standard proofreading items? If so, note them for the author.
     * Could you relate to this? If so, how?

 Word limit: 1200
Please use the subject line:
             SUB: Exercise #630/yourname

I consider this a self-knowledge exercise because what we choose to represent us - anywhere - can say a lot about who we are.
