Exercise #727: Self Knowledge Posted 9/15/17
I called a doctor’s office last week and the receptionist asked if she could put me on hold. That happens a lot, but the way she said it does not: “May I hold you for a moment?”
I chuckled about the wording the whole time I was on hold. Show us a scene where something that might have irritated you didn’t, or give us an essay on how to avoid irritants.
As always, you may choose to show a character tackling this exercise instead.
