Exercise #790

Exercise #790: Brainstorm
Posted 1/11/19

Today, look at something you see every day in a different way.

View the dining room table from underneath. Explore the top of your ceiling fan from a stepladder. Look at your pencil straight on from the end with one eye. You get the idea. Be mindful to be safe when trying this!

Often we don’t even really see the things around us, so a fresh perspective might give a nudge to our inner muse.

Share with us an essay about the experience or a SUB sparked by your view. Remember to tell us what you viewed!

Stuck? Email me privately and I'll send you a few things to try.

Critiquers, along with a technical critique, you might answer these questions:
     * Were you able to find the new perspective in the piece? Why or why not?
     * Could you relate to the piece? Why or why not?

Word limit: 1200
Please use the subject line:
             SUB: Exercise #790/yourname
