You were asked to submit a scene with at least two characters and some sort of conflict or problem, without resolving it. Time to choose! Here are the submissions:

For today's exercise, pick one of the scenes submitted by someone else and finish it. Resolve the problem or conflict, and while you do so feel free to flesh out details of the characters, the setting, or any other part of the piece. I’ve expanded the word limit on this one to allow us more room.

Do not change the original intent of the piece you’ve chosen. (Don’t break it!) Let us know which piece you chose, too, please.

Critiquers, along with a technical critique of the piece, you might note how well the author created something from the original submission.
