Today's question comes from the song “Work in Progress” by Allie Colleen. She wonders if a wildflower is worth more than a diamond ring?
When I first heard it, I thought the answer was pretty easy but then I started thinking about it more deeply. For our exercise, set a timer and freewrite for at least five minutes, starting with the question above. When the timer goes off, review what you’ve written.
Then answer the question for your SUB.
Critiquers, along with a technical review, you might note how well the SUB fit the exercise.
