Exercise #870: Craft
Posted  10/2/20

You may be participating in the humor training happening this month on The Desk Drawer, but even if you aren’t, studying and writing an example of a formal written form is good craft practice!

For today's exercise, write a limerick. Need the structure? Visit Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limerick_(poetry).

Remember to add a warning at the top of your post if you wander into something sexual, political, violent or use questionable words.

Critiquers, along with a technical critique, look for the author's adherence to the standard format of the poem, the creativity of the words or subject, and how the poem makes you feel.

Word limit: Standard limerick length, up to three limericks allowed per post
Please use the subject line
       SUB: Exercise #870/yourname
